"We believe our Mission is to proclaim the Good News that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior both to those who enter our doors and to those outside wherever we encounter them, beginning with our surrounding community and extending to our partners in Christ of the Dinanga Church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo."

(This Snow Storm Alert up-date was posted at 2:30 pm, February 7th, 2010)

Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ sounds like a very imposing order, but it is really quite simple. At First Presbyterian Church, we see the gospel being proclaimed when our Church School children learn a new Bible verse, when a member visits a sick friend, when we bring bags of groceries for food ministries, when a work crew weeds the flower beds and of course, when we worship.  In short, all facets of the life of this congregation and our members and friends combine to reflect each of our journeys of faith.  No two people come to Christ in the same way.  Each journey is as different as the gifts that God offers us.  We hope that you will join our members on a journey of faith.  Together we will joyfully discover the wonders of God's love and find new voices within ourselves to Proclaim Jesus Christ.
