VIT - Vision Implementation Team

A new Vision for First Church's commitment to Christ is emerging with new programs, higher levels of enthusiasm, and opportunities for community service.

The Vision Implementation Team (VIT) is a task team appointed by Session to start the implementation of the ReVision Report which was adopted as First Presbyterian's plan for future service. The team is composed of representatives from all ministries and at-large members. The goal is to work within the present structure with the addition of work for the Lord in our congregation, the community, the campus, and the world. With our interests and talents aligned with education, there will be major additions in the field. Most of our first year tasks have been accomplished and the enthusiasm in the congregation and the new participants from the community is encouraging. Many of our second years tasks have been started and expected to be completed by year's end. Communication of this work is regularly distributed via the HeartBeat and discussions of major new programs with the congregation.
