As parents and grandparents we know the value of a good education for our children. Is a Christian education any less important than a secular one? It is essential that your children attend Church School, which is a training ground for growth in their Christian faith. In Church School, children learn how to live a Christian life, and they become familiar with the Bible. They study the Old Testament stories about Abraham, Moses, the kings and the prophets, and the New Testament books about Jesus and His followers. These teachings will become the basis of their faith and will stay with them all their lives. The Church School Program at First Presbyterian is a well-organized and systematic study of the Bible, with interesting activities for children of all ages and excellent, caring teachers. These are the classes available for children newborn through 12th grade: Cribbery - Christian nurturing for our babies through age 2 (Also for 3 year olds not yet potty trained) .
