What does the Lord require of us? Micah 6: 8 tells us to "act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God" What a wonderful year we have had responding to those requirements.

We have participated in the partnership with our sister church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo-Dinanga Presbyterian Church. We continue to sponsor our mission co-workers; Dennis and Maribel Perez Smith in Guatemala, Ann Dayanandan in India, Taikjoo Kim in Kazakstan, Jane Holslag who is on leave pursuing a PhD at Berlin University, and Jung Ja Hong in North Korea. We are grateful to support such dedicated people representing us around the world.

This year 380 disaster relief kits were distributed, 140 hope-in-a-box kits for children and 240 hygiene kits for adults. The kits were taken or sent to various charitable agencies.

We collected and distributed offerings to One Great Hour of Sharing and the Christmas Joy Offering. We also continued to reach out and support local missions.

Our prayer is that in 2006 we will be able to continue actively sharing in Christ’s mission and reaching out in love. One of our committee members said it well. We did what we did "because it just seemed like the right thing to do". And as Jesus said, "Go and do likewise".
