Jeffrey M. Anderson is Director of Music & Arts at First Presbyterian Church in Newark, Delaware as well as Choral Director at Rising Sun High School, Rising Sun, MD. He has degrees in choral conducting and piano from the University of Wisconsin, Wichita State University, University of Southern California and University of Colorado. He has studied conducting with Robert Page, Robert Shaw, Larry Kaptien, Robert Fountain, Dale Warland, Leonard Bernstein, and Rodney Eichenberger. He has conducted the Cleveland-Robert Page Singers, the Honors High School Choir at Tanglewood; and made his Carnegie Hall conducting debut in 1994. He is sought after as a choral clinician and adjudicator. He helped establish the Children’s Choir Festival for the Delaware Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. He has held teaching/conducting positions in Colorado, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Delaware.
